Effective 3/18/2020 we will only allow 1 visitor with our minor patients to remain in the lobby. All other visitors/drivers will not be allowed to wait in our lobby.
Everyone will be screened before entering our facility. If you have a temperature your case will be rescheduled.

NO, nothing to eat or drink after midnight prior to your procedure. The only exception is if you have remaining colon prep to take.

Please consult with your physician on acceptable medication that may be taken the day of your procedure.
If on heart, blood pressure or seizure medication we need to know if you have had a recent cardiac event. You may take these the day of the procedure with a very small sip of water.
If on blood thinner or diabetic medication refer to your prescribing physician or surgeon regarding dosing to take. USUALLY they have you hold off on blood thinner for 1 week prior and oral diabetic the morning of surgery.

The Center for Same Day Surgery will call you the day before to give the official check in time and pre op instructions (We will call on Friday for Monday cases).
The physician office may have given you a tentative time but the time you get from CSDS is the official time.
Yes, this helps prevent an infection. Please do not use any lotions or perfumes before your surgery.
